The Vineyard Report
The Redlands Vineyards continues to produce above average harvests despite the drought
conditions over the last several years.
Chuck from Gardenmasters of Redlands, bore the burden of work tending to the vines this year, while his sister Karen spent much needed time in the vineyards in Escondido.
The Escondido vineyards also had a great harvest, despite the drought, and has been the sole source of grapes for Coyote Oaks Wines along with the Redlands vineyards in 2016. We expect the same trend to continue for 2017 and perhaps expand our selection of grapes in 2018 to other San Diego County grapes.
This spring we will be bottling a few of our 2014-2015 vintages and will be working in both vineyards to insure a great 2017 harvest.
